In 2000, I graduated with honors in Commercial Photography at Dawson College.
For the following three years my portfolio consisted of High Fashion and Editorial images. Then I found my first Border Collie at the SPCA, and I named him Mr. Frodo.
Photographing Frodo gave me the inspiration that I wasn’t finding in the world of High Fashion.
From that point on, I turned my focus on photographing animals. I have photographed a variety of dogs and cats, as well as farm animals such as horses, sheep and cows. It amazes me every day that I meet a new client and hear the story of their love for their pet(s). The fact that other people cherish animals the way I do motivates me and helps in creating unique and ever-lasting memories with my images.
Not only has my photography changed but so has my lifestyle. My household is now home to five Border Collies, and one cat who, I might add, has been very patient with the dogs. In addition, my summer weekends are filled with Agility, Frisbee and other dog-related events.
If you would like me to capture your pet’s true spirit on film please contact me. I would be delighted to meet your pet(s) and hear your story.
